ASTM C1027 Visual Abrasion Resistance of Glazed Ceramic Tile
The ASTM C1027 test method is a standard of the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) that measures abrasion resistance of the surface of glazed ceramic tiles. The scope of testing involves abrading the surface of a tile specimen by rotation of an abrasive load. After a specified number of rotations, the test specimen is visually compared to a similar unabraded tile, and then rated.
