The ISO 10545-6 Deep Abrasion Tester for Ceramic Tile is a standard of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that determines the resistance to deep abrasion for unglazed ceramic tiles used for flooring. The test involves exposing a rotating steel disk to the surface of the ceramic tile sample. Corundum is then introduced between the wheel and the sample through a controlled trickle system. Once the test is complete, the length of the abraded area is measured, and the amount of removed material is calculated. The volume calculated will produce the final result rating.
