Large format tile refers to tiles that have at least one edge that measures longer than 15 inches. They can be made from a variety of materials, including natural stone, ceramic, and porcelain in both traditional and thin slabs. Because large format tiles offer more coverage per tile when compared to traditionally sized tiles, there are fewer and thinner grout lines.
