Nail Holes

Nail holes are often found in reclaimed or antique wood. The nail holes are created in wood planks from previous installations and are visible in the plank when removed and restored. Nail holes can add to the character of reclaimed wood. Depending on the installation method, nail holes can either be left unfilled or sealed with a wood filler in order to minimize their appearance and add some stability to the plank.
