Patchwork

Patchwork refers to a form of needlework that is used to create a larger design out of smaller pieces of fabric. Pieces of cloth that come in different geometric shapes, sizes, and colors, are sewn together in repeating patterns. The traditional structures used to construct patchwork pieces included block, overall, and strip piecing. While it is most often used to create quilted materials, patchwork can also be used for clothing accessories, artworks, and interior elements.
