Solid Wood

Solid wood is wood that has been cut directly from a tree. Although cut, it exists in its natural form and has not been created by wood composites, veneers, or any type of multi-layer construction. Solid wood is the most ideal to work with for carpentry, construction, or for any structural use as it can be easily cut, manipulated, or fabricated to create a final product. Most wood composite or engineered wood products are created with solid wood fragments or solid wood layers.
